The Ultimatum – Day 2: Niche Down or Go Broad?
“Do I niche down or cast a wide net?”
That question has been bouncing around my head like a screensaver on repeat — for months. I’ve watched dozens of videos. Read endless posts. Heard both sides argue their case:
“You need to niche down to stand out.” “No — go broad to land your first few clients.”
And honestly? It felt like a mental tug-of-war between what I know and what might pay. A quiet kind of pain — disguised as “research”, “strategy”, and my personal favorite: “I’m still learning.”
But deep down, I was just procrastinating.
The Wall I Kept Hitting
I knew one thing for sure: 👉 I want to work with service-based businesses—not product companies—businesses that consistently need leads.
I had picked a niche once. But the excitement wore off. It felt forced… like trying to wear someone else’s shoes.
So I shelved it. Said, “I’ll come back to it later.” But then I remembered why I started this in the first place.
Planting the Seed Again
The original idea — The Seed — was about helping purpose-driven brands grow.
And now, as I walk out my journey as a Kingdom Believer, I realized the answer was right in front of me:
I want to serve Kingdom business builders, ministries, creators, and small to mid-sized purpose-driven service brands.
So, what exactly is a Kingdom business?
It’s a business rooted in faith. Built not just for profit, but for people. Led by someone who sees work as worship — a way to serve, create impact, and live with eternal purpose.
Moving Forward — Imperfect but In Motion
I finally committed to the niche.
I’m using my web and copywriting skills to launch a simple landing page (no perfectionism this time) and get it live fast.
I started a newsletter on Beehiiv to share value and build community here: theseedtableagency.beehiiv.com
And guess what? It feels right. Like, alignment and momentum are meeting for the first time.
Tomorrow (Day 3): The Offer
That’s the next challenge — crafting a clear offer that connects.
No more hiding behind “learning.” This is action.

If you’re building a Kingdom business or service-based brand with purpose, I’d love to hear from you. What helped you niche down? Or are you still in the tug-of-war?
Let’s grow together.
